Scene: Luke raises his enchanted can of beer, summoning all his control over the force of its natural state of an immovable object. As the can is raised the DH Sith Danny Hart is flying up and over near him. Suddenly, the force emitted from the enchanted beer starts pulling the DH Sith Lord's bike towards Luke. It's working! Ben Kanobi's is right! As long as Luke doesn't lose concentration he has control. Scene: Luke spots the whale tail of an umbrella girl picking up trackside equipment. Luke breaks his concentration. Scene: the DH Sith Lord feels the tractor beam break free. He uses his force-enhanced powers of observation and spots the enchanted beer. He breaks into a whip and the unstoppable DH force contacts the (formerly) immovable beer object, sending the enchanted beer into orbit. The empire strikes back! Scene: Luke: Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Scene: Ghost image of Ben Kanobi appears, looks forlorn, makes the shape of an "L" with his fingers on his forehead. Scene: DH Sith Lord Danny Hart: Luke, I'm not your father. I'm a #$%&'in DH Sith Lord---what did you expect trying to go up against me?! end> - Star Wars + Crankworkx mash-up

(Ben Kanobi continues to instruct Luke:) ...Here, take and lift your beer into the air. It will act as a tractor beam and bring the DH star ship of the DH sith Danny Hart. When the force of your immovable object is placed near Danny Hart you can take control of his DH star ship and it will move towards you at great speed. As long as you don't break your concentration, you will over power Danny Hart, take his DH star ship, and return to the glory of the Jedi knight DH crew! Go...and may the force be with you. Scene: Luke goes to the Giant team tent, finds the enchanted beer, and, using the force, lifts it up---as if it were just another can of beer on a July day at Crankworkx. Scene: Luke runs over to the DH course, find the photographers and sees the DH sith lord Danny Hart barreling towards him. (continued...)

Scene: Ben Kanobi's ghost (offscreen) to spectator Luke Skywalker: Luke....Luke. Listen to me Luke. Though you're merely a spectator at Crankworx and you are indeed a weak protagonist for Lucas Arts, the force still runs strong through you. Today, I offer you a chance at renewal (and untold new sequals) in the form of an enchanted can of beer. You will find this can stuck to the bottom of a Coleman cooler by the Giant bikes DH team tent. No one can lift this can of beer except for you--for all others will find it to be an immovable object. However, if you concentrate and use the force, Luke, you can lift this can and lift it with one arm. Remember--this can is an enchanted can. There is a DH Sith Lord named Danny Hart, who will be completing a run today. He is strong with the dark side of the force, Luke. They say he's an unstoppable force. Luke, go to the enchanted beer in the Coleman cooler by Giant's team tent, lift this immovable object using the force and bring it track side to where the camera crews are capturing the riders launch their DH star ships into the air. Darren--so glad you're (relatively) OK. Speedy recovery! Appreciate your style and work ethic since first saw you in Roam. One question, and not to sound like a noob, but why wouldn't Specialized supply you with a foam pit? Or something? Surely that won't work in all circumstances...but something along those lines sounds seems necessary (not just nice to have). Also appreciate the lack of riding buddies That's not only good for safety, but it's so much more fun (heh...the Follow Me movie comes to mind). For me it's work, kids, sketchy timing and most of my friends in the same boat. Need a way to find other people in my area willing to ride (with location, timing, ability, and style all kinda factored in there). Sort of a where-the-ladies-at iPhone app kinda thing for mountain biking. Where-my-riderz-at... In any case, your situation made me think about safety and riding with others. Damn, Claw. Even laid up in a hospital bed you post on Pinkbike and get people excited about riding and designing for people/places/stuff. Godspeed!
